Delegate List for the General Body meeting- In Miami, Saturday in October - October 25, 2014 / bylaw amendment

Dear Malayalee Association Presidents  and FOMAA members,

 

Attached is the Delegate list form for the General Body meeting going to be held in Miami on October-25th, at 11:00 am in Miami, FL.

Every association can send 5 delegates to this General Body meeting, including the current President and immediate past President. Please fill out this form and e-mail back to me (gladson...@sbcglobal.net) or in the address given on the Form on or before October-10th. We brought a by-law change in the General Body meeting held in Philadelphia, but it did not put into any vote (just discussed), we will bring it up in the Miami General body also. However we will consider to vote only if there is a quorum.

 

The proposal is "Add 2 more Vice Presidents, 1 Female and 1 Male to the executive body".

 

Some associations have a new executive body, so please forward this e-mail to them.

 

I will inform the Location of the meeting (I heard it is near the Miami Airport) and Agenda soon after discussing it with Shaji Edward.

Here is the date and location (Miami, Saturday in October - October 25, 2014 at 11:00 am) for Handing over /Taking Over / General Body meeting. Please make travel arrangements / book your flights, etc.... Anadan Niravel will give you more details about the location, hotel info etc.....  Please inform your association members also. I will send more details, delegate list and Agenda later.

Also need your help in getting advertisement from your Association and Businesses for FOMAA Souvenir, please contact J. Mathew Sir (914-450-1442) for details.

Based on the FOMAA Executive body's decision we are planning to host a FOMAA Award Night and Dinner event in Philadelphia on October 18th evening. This is to distribute the "Sahithya" Awards and Release of the FOMAA Souvenir. Planning to invite some dignitaries to this event as Chief guests, All of you are cordially invited to this event. We will announce more details within couple of weeks.  

FOMAA Souvenir is 80% Complete, we still have some few pages open for advertisements. Please send your advertisements (business, Associations or Family) on or before September-20th to J. Mathews Sir (ph: 914-450-1442, e-mail: jmath...@gmail.com).

Handing over /Taking over / General Body meeting will be on October-25th in Miami. Please start selecting your delegates for this event (one association can send 5 delegates to the General Body meeting). I will send the delegate form soon to all the associations via e-mail.

Only very few associations send the delegate list so far. Please ask your president or secretary to send the delegate list as soon as possible. Also please forward this e-mail to your association members.
