Yes, I have the 7 in 1 meter from HK.
There are many locations that will take your old lipos and dispose of them for free. See the list here: http://www.folsom.ca.us/depts/public_works/hazmat/retail_drop_off_services.asp#New%20Drop-off%20Site
It’s best to completely discharge them first. If you have a programmable charger, you can use the Discharge setting or you can just wire up an automotive tail light and plug it into the battery. It will slowly drain it to zero overnight (do that in a safe location).

Subject: [Folsom Flyers] Lipo internal resistance meter.
Anyone got a device that measures lipo internal resistance to check health of lipo ?
Something like this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22631__turnigy_7_in_1_mega_meter_battery_checker_watt_meter_servo_tester.html
I have a bunch of old batteries collected over years and before I throw them away want to know if any of them can be salvaged...
By the way, what do you guys do with old lipos ? Does radioshack take them for recycling/proper disposal ? Or just drain them and send them to landfill ?

The battery location link you need to check many of these location. Many on the list will NOT accept Lipo batteries. Home Depot and Lowes do not, the list does not clarify what type of batteries are accepted, mostly they mean NIMH type batteries for recycling.
Hobby Town does not accept Lipos either, easiest to drain battery and dispose of in trash.
