If anyone is feeling a little down and grounded by the wind, you just need the right kind of plane. Perfect 10 mph wind from the South West for sloping at Costco Hill today. Tomorrow will also be pretty good. Continue up Iron Point from E. Bidwell past Costco to the top of the hill. I’m going to be out there in about an hour with the 2 meter Phoenix. It’s probably a little too windy for the UMX Radian but we’ll see. Whether on the ground or in the air, have a great weekend!

I had some lovely flights here at Costco Hill but the weather service over-delivered. By my wind gauge gusts are steadily increasing, now up to 22 mph making for very high-energy flying. Enough fun for one day.

Good to see Greg and Nathan out here today.
