Flying Weather

This weekend I finally had time to put together the Park Zone Radian 2m glider that’s been sitting unopened in the garage for six months. I took it out yesterday for a maiden flight at Costco hill. It flew great from the first toss and I’m happy with it. It doesn’t have flaps like my previous 2m glider, so I need to get used to slowing it down for landing.

 

The national weather service predicts 7 mph SW winds this evening at Costco hill, so I may go out just after 6p to throw it around again. I ran into to Russell at Livermore Park a couple weeks ago. He’s switched his FPV focus from the quadcopter to a flying wing which looked really nice.

 

Is anyone interested in doing a park fly meetup sometime the weekend of May 30^th?
