Just an update from me. I’ve been super busy with work and travel so my flying has been restricted to quick trips to fly a battery or two at Livermore Park when I can slip away, which I why I haven’t been posting (since I never know for sure when/if I can go until 10 mins before). Things have been so busy I haven’t even been to RC Groups since late July. I suspect Hobby King probably has a bunch of things that I was waiting to come in stock (or maybe they’ve come and gone again J).
I have a bunch of projects on the bench all waiting for time to do them:
· I got a Guardian 2D/3D stabilizer which is waiting to be installed into my daughter’s EZ-Fly. It has a feature that can limit turns/dives to a max angle which should keep the plane docile even if she bangs the sticks around (which she likes to do).
· I bought a Radian 2m glider to replace my old beat up HK 2m glider. It’s been sitting on the bench over a month waiting impatiently to be assembled and have a receiver set up for it. It would be nice to get out sloping again before it gets too cold.
· I have the parts now to install micro LEDs on my Nano QX quad and AS3xtra. The LEDs are the size of two grains of sand but remarkably bright. I just need to solder them together with the right resistors and install them.
I hope all of you have been getting more air time than I have!
