Also, do you know where to get new AMA cards?

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been on and flying so I have some stories to tell. About a month ago I decided to sell my planes and get out of the hobby, I was going to upgrade my bike and get a minibike. A few weeks later I was doing a bike jump I crashed and went to the hospital for a few days and got out of school. It's been two weeks since then and I have a concussion. I decided to get back into the hobby, I am keeping my parts, Edge, and S-Bach but I am getting rid of everything else and buying a Freewing P-51 and upgrading. Also possibly getting a membership to Eldorado R/C Club! The planes I am selling are on Craiglist and include a Yak 54, Habu, a 3 cubs. Anyways, I am just trying to get rid of those and get the P-51 (maybe a jet in the futere, also have controllers). Also, I got an E-Flite Slick 480. How have you all been?

Glad to hear you're ok. As for the AMA membership, I've always just got mine off the AMA website: http://www.modelaircraft.org/

Mark was talking about getting a group together next weekend for some flying. I'll wait for him to send out more details.

Thank you! Um, what do you mean, how do I get my AMA member code from there?

Hopefully you still have the username/password you created when you signed up for the AMA.

Once you log into their website with that username/password, you can go to the "members & clubs" menu at the top and click on the "members only" section. Then, click on the "Update AMA Information" link in the left menu. Your AMA number will be displayed as part of your information.

According to the FAQ on the AMA website, if you want to request a new card, you can call 1-800-I FLY AMA and get a new card from them. You may need your AMA number in order to get the card, but I'm not sure.
