Sorry you missed the BBQ. It was a fun event. I managed to eventually break every plane I brought (except my daughter’s EZ-Fly), so I guess that’s a sign of an ‘active’ flying day! Russell was there with his T-28 and FPV quadcopter. There was a lot of FPV (both rotary and fixed wing) as well as air-to-air combat with flying wings.

 

I’ll let you know when I’m going to head out to fly in Folsom again. Based on other messages it looks like maybe Saturday morning at the lake. Regarding parking on Ironpoint, I’ve never seen signs restricting street parking there. As far as I know, bike lane markings do not prohibit street parking

Hey Russell,

We will be at Beals point at 8ish tomorrow.  Look forward to seeing you there. To anyone else, if you plan on flying bring something that you can hand toss or that can take off from sand.  Should be fun.  The wide open space is great to fly in (less of a worry of hitting something or someone).
