Ultimately, we would like to deploy this agent to all 900 computers in our organization and have it not install the agent (unless required), and hidden as much as possible (I did find and option to hide it from the task tray which works great). Any tips or suggestions regarding the install options and what are the best options to minimize the logmein visibility would be great?
Try this, it worked for me. When downloading from the Add Computer within logmein central, it did not work. However, when downloading it from here, which I would have thought to be the same source, it worked:
When I reported this to logmein Tech Support over the phone, they told me to send them the local logs of a few computers, screen caps of those local event viewers and matching central reports, wich I did. They told me it was a known bug and that they were working on it.
I tried to temporary use the local logmein event viewer for billing but any time the computer is reboot the event viewer gets cleared and you cannot load remote connections by time or anything so it isn't a feasible temporary solution...
The best way is to uninstall using the app in your applications folder, but if you've already deleted it then it's a bit of a hassle. You have to go through and delete files in a few places, including the Library and the user library. Here's a step by step guide if you need to remove logmein without having the app anymore: -to-get-rid-of-logmein-on-your-mac-if-youve-deleted- the-app
Thanks for the reply, during my test for VPN, I was able to login with MFA also. I agree that Logmein is easier to use for users, but you can do the same with fewer steps with VPN. With VPN no need to go to logmein, signin, find your computer etc.

Today's story is on another (sort of) phishing campaign - the twist on this one is that the targets are .. us, again, sort of. This one caught my eye because I've never had a logmein account - no reflection on the product, I've just always had licenses on other comparable products.
The blog entry in the email points blog.logmeininc.com is different than the blog on logmein's home page, which is at blog.logmein.com. And accounts.logme.in is a domain that truly looks like it was set up to steal credentials.
The truly ironic links in this note is that the one to the Privacy Policy and the "here's a logmein blog that explains why you should never click on links in random emails" - both of these point to logmein.com links that look "for real"
8. To get your remote session details with chatlog and other customer details upon completing the remote session, go to LogMeIn Rescue's Admin Center > Technician Group > Settings > Exporting Session Data > Post session details to URL when session is ended by technician and enter the following URL: FreshserviceURL/integrations/logmein/rescue_session. Please make sure you have http or https included in your Freshservice URL.
