For a sweet treat, we had dark chocolate covered pretzels to snack on, and for the centerpiece I made a cheesecake with a cinnamon graham cracker crust. All along the top, I sprinkled gold edible star sprinkles to look like pixie dust. In the center, strawberries to add a pop of color and freshness, and a gold Tinkerbell silhouette from cardstock as the cake topper I found on Amazon.
In Pixie Hollow all the goods from everyone else's job are distributed to the population in a certain amount every week. This is best shown in the 2nd movie Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, where Tinkerbell needs some extra pixie dust to make a long journey, but when she tries to get more they refuse her request insistently because she's "already had her share for the week".
Everyone has one job that they keep for their whole lives and that benefits the rest of the rest of the society in some way. In Pixie Hollow you're immediately given a job to do for the rest of your life as soon as you're born, and when you're given a job you can't change it because it's tied to your "talent". In the first tinkerbell movie, the whole plot is Tinkerbell trying to switch her talent so she can go to the mainland (tinker fairies can't go to the mainland because they're considered useless up there) but the movie makes it evidently clear that she can't showing her failing at all the other fairies jobs time and time again. The closest any fairies gotten to changing their talent is Zarina from the 5th movie The Pirate Fairy when she created a new job of "Pixie dust alchemist" after being banished for a year for stepping out of line by tampering with Pixie dust (which is another piece of evidence all in its own) but in end she was still a dust keeping fairy, she just became a different subset of dust keeping fairy.
The first hint we get of this is her talent ceremony/ technical interview. When Tinker Bell is shown a number of objects to choose her gift, the Tinker hammer is perhaps the ugliest and the most crude. While other fairies have names like Silvermist and work with water and rainbows, Tinkerbell gets a hammer. It is alluded that the hammer is perhaps the least elegant and least fairy-like skill, an allusion that is only reinforced when she meets her fellow tinkerers, Clank and Bobble.
