Eco ice skating rink - £6.50 per half an hour, but they also have festive market, santas grotto, gift shops and more. Check website for more details.  May need to book in advance.

Dear all,
hope you are all very well and the Christmas play was a great success. We are sorry we have missed it but thanks to Miss Castle and Miss Gogerty we have the CD with songs so at least we had a little production in the living room performed by Ben and Berenika.
I would like to share few ideas from our Czech school. There was a Christmas Fair on Friday at school. Each class had its own stand and kids were selling only things they made at school themselves- little angels, candlesticks, their ceramic products, christmas decorations etc. Older children were running small Caffeteria in one of the classrooms selling coffee, tea and cakes and the oldest were preparing pancakes in the school kitchen - kids were dressed as waiters and cooks.
There was also carol singing by the Christmas tree. Every class was nicely decorated offering some christmas cookies, all the teachers were present - as  they used this opportunity and hold an open afternoon/evening.
It was great fun, we (and future students) had a chance to talk to teachers informally and see the school and its atmosphere.
And they raised  a lot of money... !

The school is slightly bigger than LMGS but it still is a small school with little more than hundred kids.
