When referring to a company that is based in Italy, I am never sure which of the above is correct. Logically speaking, "Italy-based" seems the most appropriate (since the company is based in Italy, not Italian), but I so often see "Italian-based..." written in publications that I begin to doubt myself. Is there a "correct" way, or is it simply a style issue?

It seems a bit more straight forward if you swap a country for a city.
Melbourne based or Melbournian based...
Something that is Italian is from Italy, no matter where it is. Italy-based seems to imply that it is actually in Italy, not just having a history that is Italian.

Both "Italian-Based Company" and "Italy-Based Company" are correct. It all depends on your point of view. Some people might assume that "Italy-Based Company" is right as "Italian-Based Company", like Barrie England mentioned, might become confusing. On the other hand, upon looking up the internet, I realised that most companies say that they are "Italy-Based". Thus, I suggest that you use "Italy-Based Company" first, but if the context does not fit, you may want to use a different form.

Lahaina Pizza Company Copycat Chopped Italian Salad is a must try! We took our family to Maui, Hawaii over spring break and it was truly magical. All of it is. The weather, the smell of the air, the culture, and of course, the food. We ate at so many amazing restaurants, mostly seafood, of course. But on the last day, we decided to try out the Lahaina Pizza Company.

We spent quite a bit of time in Lahaina because it was so close to our resort. I am all about ambiance when it comes to restaurants and I love some good outdoor dining. The Lahaina Pizza company is located on the main street above some shops. It has this open balcony that I kept seeing from the street and I just knew I wanted to go.

Sometimes I buy bottled Italian dressing and sometimes I make my own! It really just depends what I have time for. I have tried so many good recipes and really like this creamy Italian dressing from A Family Feast!

The Italian SA found that the controller (a US company) has unlawfully disclosed email accounts and health data relating to about 2,000 Italian diabetic patients and committed additional infringements of data protection laws. In particular, after downloading the app, users were expected to accept, by a single click, the terms of use of the service jointly with the contents of the privacy policy. This prevented them from giving their consent separately to the individual processing operations including the processing of health-related data. Fairness and transparency principles were also infringed since the information provided to users was unclear as well as incomplete, and the company had failed to designate, in writing, its EU representative for all privacy-related issues in pursuance of the GDPR.

The Securities and Exchange Commission ("Commission") today filed several actions charging Kansas City-based American Italian Pasta Company ("AIPC"), and its senior executives with securities fraud and other violations of the federal securities laws. The Commission's complaints allege that, from its fiscal year 2002 through the second quarter of its fiscal year 2004, AIPC, AIPC's former chief executive officer Timothy S. Webster, former chief financial officer Warren B. Schmidgall, and former executive vice president of corporate development and strategy David E. Watson, engaged in a fraudulent scheme to mislead the investing public about the growth of the company's earnings and to increase artificially the company's stock price. According to the Commission's complaints, the fraudulent accounting and other errors arising from inadequate internal controls, resulted in the overstatement of AIPC's pre-tax income for the relevant period by approximately $59 million, or 66 percent.

In a related criminal action, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri announced today that it resolved its investigation of AIPC and that Webster and Schmidgall both pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for their roles in concealing AIPC's true financial condition and filing materially false reports with the Commission. [United States v. Timothy S. Webster, 08-00259-01-Cr-W-DGK (W.D. Mo.); United States v. Warren B. Schmidgall, No. 08-00260-01-Cr-W-DW.] AIPC agreed to resolve the criminal investigation of the company by paying a $7.5 million monetary penalty.

The Commission's complaints, filed in federal district court in the Western District of Missouri, allege that Webster, Schmidgall, and Watson engaged in a variety of fraudulent accounting from AIPC's fiscal year 2002 through the second quarter of its fiscal year 2004 to inflate AIPC's reported earnings. This caused period costs to be fraudulently capitalized in order to meet AIPC's external targets. The Commission further alleges that AIPC and its former executives manipulated AIPC's trade promotion accounting; failed to write off obsolete or missing spare parts; structured fraudulent round-tripping of cash transactions; and recorded false receivables.

The Commission additionally charged AIPC's former controller Stephanie S. Ruskey in a civil action in federal court. The Commission alleges that Ruskey knew or was reckless in not knowing that AIPC's quarterly and annual financial statements were misleading, and alleges that she signed representation letters to AIPC's auditor that falsely stated that the financial statements were prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

I started out wearing heels and Havaianas on 6-week trips to Jakarta, Mumbai, Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore, until I realized very quickly that my shoe closet needed a winter makeover if I was to survive Seoul in February.

So what? A fact that leads to 1 in 4 young girls dropping out of school by the time she starts menstruating. (I discovered this while working on an education and philanthropy campaign with Johnson & Johnson India in 2012.)

The day before the debate, I locked myself in a Beijing hotel room and started to draft my talking points. My husband filmed me and forced me to watch the video rehearsals. I was a print reporter for a reason. I was truly cringe-worthy.

Postscript: My inspiration for my personal and company mission came from many places. But, a pivotal moment in my journey: the invitation to speak at the APEC Women's Leadership Conference in 2014. Watch the debate.

Introduction: In vitro human diagnostic (IVD) company recalls are a common practice aimed to either minimize a potential error or eliminate an existing failure. In this case report, we aim to provide a critical analysis of a recent IVD recall and to provide a practical framework about what to do when an IVD company recalls product(s) based on the International Organization for Standardization--ISO 15189:2012 standard.

Conclusion: IVD company recalls have a serious impact on the patient safety and require a thorough investigation and responsible approach to minimize the possible damage. Medical laboratories accredited according to the ISO 15189 standard have procedures in place to manage such situations and ensure that patient safety is maintained when such recalls are issued.

Speaking of work, I have lived two very different lives. Before doing what I currently do, which is running this website and working freelance as a translator, I have worked for some years in the corporate world.

After World War I, the company changed production and started producing films for cinema, photography, and radiography. Thanks to an agreement with the famous French company Path Frres, a new company came to life: it was the FILM (Fabbrica Italiana Lamine Milano). In 1923, the first cinematographic film was presented and in 1926 the Ferrania brand was born.
