For those that don't know, the favicon is the little icon that appears next to the web address or URL in your browser.  Most professionally maintained websites have them.  For some reason, FOIA Machine does not, and it ruins some of the functionality of my bookmarks toolbar.

I'm no graphics pro, but I've created two that might work (and I'm claiming no rights to):

A transparent one (that I don't really like), and one with a yellow background that I think stands out really well.

The website that I used to generate these icons says that it's simple to include on the site.  I think you just have to remove the capital letters that I've added to the names of the files and follow the directions below:

Download

FaviconDownload the generated favicon and save to the root directory of your site. Then include the following code in the head of your HTML document.

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">
<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

Not happy with the result? Use our icon editor to tweak your favicon or bookmark this link and return later to edit your favicon.

And one more that's zoomed in on the robot a bit more.  I don't like this one much, either.
