Email not confirmed

When I login I see the 'please confirm your email' message at the top of the screen.  I click the 'resend confirmation' link but the email never comes.  I have verified it is the correct email address.  I created my account over a year ago.  Any idea whats going on here?

We've had some slowness sending confirmation emails and also reports of it hitting spam folders. If you can email in...@foiamachine.org I'll make sure you're account is verified (not seeing an account with your name)
