Devotee Appreciation Dinner

Dear devotees, Hare Krishna

I just wanted to send out an email and thank Radha Bhakti for all her hard work on making last Saturday's appreciation dinner such a great success. Those of you who have attended the event will surly agree that it was a wonderful event. The atmosphere in the temple room was so sweet and special, I personally loved the little harmony exercise we did, it was very unique and lots of fun, and the speeches from the different devotees were inspiring. 

But I would like to thank Radha Bhakti not just for the wonderful evening but for the hard work she put into preparing the evening. I know that she arrived at the temple at 10:00am Saturday morning and spent the whole day making puris, cutting vegetables, cleaning pots, making puris again and cleaning the kitchen. I went to sleep early, but I heard that she was also helping to transfer the prasadam, make sure that the serving of prasadam was going on nicely and making sure the temple room and kitchen are cleaned up after the event was over. Oh and the prasadam was delicious!

Thank you so much Radha Bhakti for all your hard work, it was a great first devotee appreciation dinner and it was a wonderful success.

Thanks also to Anjan, Hina, Kanaad and Sukhayanti for spending the entire day in the kitchen, and with clean up afterwards too. We had a blast!

Special shout out also to Vij for setting up Govinda's, and Tara and Keshav for helping with clean up. I think Manish also helped in the kitchen afterwards as well. My apologies if I have missed anyone.

Sorry for my late reply.  Just catching up on emails from this week.

 

Just to echo the sentiments of the devotees, kudos to Radha Bhakti for championing the Appreciation Dinner this year!  Great job!!!  And thank you to the other Committee members who gave some much of your time on that day!  This was our first effort as a RY Committee hosting this for the devotees and it went very nicely!  I think next year, we should book it for the weekend after RY and even have invitation cards made BEFORE the festival so that as people are serving and helping, we hand them invitations!
