This week has been exceptionally positive and busy: Paddy Power had us move into second place overtaking Labour in this constituency; huge new banners have gone up in Osterley and Gunnersbury; and the Evening Standard’s Paul Waugh tweeted during the Chiswick hustings on Wednesday night that he believed we could win the seat.
TWO KEY THINGS WE NEED FROM YOU TO WIN! We continue to be overwhelmed by the support of new volunteers that are flowing into Campaign HQ – thank you for all you are doing. However the final few days will be vital so, if you are not already active, please get involved by: 1. Coming and delivering as many leaflets as you can. We need even more volunteers out every day for the next 4 days to deliver thousands more leaflets. Pick your leaflets up from Campaign HQ, 2 Upper Butts, Brentford TW8 8DA (tel: 020 8568 2209). 2. Signing up now to help on polling day – Thursday 6th May. If you have not already promised to give us some of your time on 6th May, please do so now! If you can’t take the whole day off work, please sign up to help early in the morning or in the evening. Please email your availability on Polling Day to Hazel right now at TheWinn...@hounslowlibdems.org.uk or call 020 8568 2209. There are 50 polling stations in the constituency that we would like to cover from 7am-10pm.

That’s why last week I launched a competition for your ideas for the first question that the next MP for this constituency should put to the new Prime Minister of Britain.
