Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest Volunteer Opportunity

Hope you've been having a great summer! Bohemian is looking for
volunteers to help with the production end of NewWestFest, and we
thought we'd forward on the opportunity to get involved with this
great festival (if you aren't already playing). The letter from them
is at the end of this message.

Dear FoCoMA member:

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest 2010 is quickly approaching. Every
year, Bohemian Nights provides the Fort Collins community with an
amazing opportunity to experience Colorado’s best music in the heart
of our historic Old Town. This year’s lineup includes more than 70
Colorado bands on six stages. (Many of you may be playing the
festival and for this we say THANK YOU!) In addition to the Colorado
performers, the festival is anchored by an incredible and diverse
offering of headliners including: the Flobots, Earth, Wind, & Fire,
and a rare performance by the legendary Earl Scruggs with Family and
Friends.

In addition to bringing our community Colorado’s greatest musical
talent, the festival also features a Kids Music Adventure (KMA) which
gives children ages 5-12 the opportunity to play a variety of musical
instruments, participate in interactive activities and encourages them
to embrace their own creativity. Musically inspiring kids, is what
KMA is all about….

Of course, none of this is possible without the help of amazing
volunteers. This year, we will need hundreds of volunteers to help
make this weekend extravaganza possible. We are currently recruiting
for roles such as: Kids Music Adventure musical petting zoo,
production office assistants, artist liaisons, greenroom attendants,
supply room attendants, sustainability educators and runners to name
just a few.
