For those of you who didn't read Part 1 and 2 of the Past, Present and Future of Foam Brain, I heartily recommend them - http://groups.google.com/group/foambrain. Part 2 even contains ways to get paid for going to gaming conventions with Foam Brain, and other exciting stuff.

Part 3 is probably one of the hardest emails I have ever had to write in my life. For the past 6 and a half years, Foam Brain's LARPing activities have been some of the more exciting and defining characteristics of both what Foam Brain did and what I've done. Unfortunately, a variety of factors involving the business aspects of Foam Brain (which has been my full time job since April), such as Wizards of the Coast's WPN changes have made it essential that Foam Brain urgently make some big business moves.

The downside of this is that, for now, LARPing does not fit into these moves. I am not saying we are done with LARP forever, I am merely saying that we are unfortunately going to be taking an indefinitely long hiatus from LARPing.

I am extraordinarily grateful to the many people who have contributed to Foam Brain's LARP activities in the past.I am absolutely positive that without the dedication of these fine individuals Foam Brain would not be where it is today.

No matter who you are, if you're reading this I hope you've had some fun, and we've impacted your life in a positive manner. I know you have all done so for mine. I know I have had disagreements with some people in the past, but from my perspective I consider these all over now.

I genuinely hope I will see many of you at future events I will be at (a wide variety of conventions, if nothing else) or just around in general. This does not spell the end of Foam Brain Games, but merely an evolution to the future. I hope you will all continue to be part of it.

On behalf of the Foam Brain Games Board of Directors, thank you all!
