Hey folks – how’s everyone doing? I hope most of you have managed to avoid the swine flu and other assorted illnesses that are going around RPI.
I just wanted to mention 2 upcoming events:
1) Foam Brain Games Halloween Party – 10/31 (ie next Saturday) at Andrew’s house, starting at 6pm and going until whenever. We had so much fun at the 5th anniversary party, that we wanted to hold another one. So I scoured the earth for some excuse to hold a party. That or I looked at a calendar and found the first halfway plausible event. Once again there will certainly be plenty of board gaming and video gaming, along with hanging out and the like. And no doubt some sort of food and plenty of Halloween candy. Come in costume – we’ll have Foam Brain dice and stuff for costumes we like J. If you’re on Facebook, it would be helpful if you RSVPed to the event, but if not don’t worry about it – feel free to just show up.
There will be rides from Warren at about 6 on Saturday (if you have a car, giving people rides would be appreciated), and rides back whenever…
2) Another LARP running organization called LARPI has organized a weekend of LARP minigames on the RPI campus – Nov 20-22nd. We’re running 10 Bad LARPs: Flipside, and a bunch of other people are running a bunch of other games.
