blank page when i try to login on foaf.me

hi,

first of all, happy new year.

when i try to login on foaf.me i'm redirected to foafssl.org, as
normal, but when the net connection is slow foafssl.org never redirect
back to foaf.me because of timeout.
i don't know if this can be solved someway. A idea could be to make
foafssl.org to return a error code to foaf.me and then foaf.me to show
a message error and explain what is happend.

PS: to be honest i don't know if this is the right place to post this
but maybe will help somehow, :)

Thanks for posting this bug report. I should remove foafssl.org at
some point as it is costing me $50 a month. I am working on moving it
to bblfish.net to reduce costs.

Henry thanks or replying. Did you think about using a few micro
version on amazon cloud services?

It's free for one year and I'm sure it'll let you run some kind of tomcat.

I guess we can try and make a php version of this, or use the native
SSL. I think the SSL cert on foaf.me needs a renewal, tho ... I've
been chatting to Akbar about this, let me get back on that ...
