So inconsistent

I'm fairly new at this, and find it frustrating at obvious differences
between what should be similar definitions.

Just looking at RDFa, what is the minimum that needs to be defined on
the page to be recognised ?

For example, putting in
http://foaf-visualizer.org/?uri=http://rdfa.digitalbazaar.com/fuzzbot/demo/foaf-depictions.html
which is the RDFa example in another RDFa reader, I get very little
but Mr Hermans name.

What gives?

Because it contains only foaf:name and foaf:depiction.
Just compare it with this RDFa:
