How to save stream with CStore SCP (server)

I'm trying to have another company send us a byte stream of their DCM file.  Is there a way to just receive a byte array with one of the fo-dicom servers and save it to the server's file system.  I'm not able to get the other company to use fo-dicom DicomClient.

Looking at code and the rest of this google group, I've not found the solution.

Possibly a new feature and pull request :)

The C-Store SCP example should be able to receive images from any C-Store SCU and save it to a file.

Yeah, I go that working just find using the DicomClient type to send the DCM files.  I guess what I'm gathering is that maybe I just need to send a byte stream to the port the server is listening to and it will work.  I'll try that and bring back specific stack traces and/or code questions here.
