First - X-Men: Xavier's School should be dropping mid-February.  As far as I know, we are NOT participating in the prerelease 1/31.  If you have any interest in ordering boosters, fast forces or dice pack please let Slade know.

Saturday 1/27 we will do a 300pt Familiar game - 

Each character you use must be accompanied by an animal familiar, and must be comic accurate.

What you can play:

*Clix and their companions that are clixed

*Clix and their companions that are costed bystander tokens

*Clix that can detach their companions from their base (example, Klarion with Teekl, Zatanna with Constantine bunny)

What you can't play:

*Clix that can produce companions as bystander tokens

*Sidekicks that happen to be animals - Groot and Rocket Raccoon doesn't count, as Rocket is not a familiar

*generic clix - Batman and Flock of Bats, Catwoman and Black Cat

Saturday 2/10 Randy will be bringing in his old school Spectre, playing him at 1800pts.  You should build your teams by hundreds, as your team total will depend on how many people show up to face him.

2 people = 900pts

3 people = 600pts

4 people = 2 @ 500pts, 2 @ 400pts

5 people = 3 @ 400pts, 2 @ 300pts

Restrictions: No multi-base colossals; no team bases; in the interest in making a long game shorter, no resources; relics are fine but no possession.

Some things to keep in mind:  

Spectre ignores knockback and can’t be captured;

Spectre has improved targeting: can make ranged attacks even when based;

Spectre ignores Earthbound, Exploit Weakness, Force Blast, Incap, Mastermind, Mind Control, Plasticity, Poison, Psychic Blast, Shape Change, Stealth, Support, and can’t be moved by TK.  He is also Quintessent, so no Outwit.

Spectre ignores the Mystics team ability, and other similarly worded team abilities.

When Spectre is the target of Perplex, he rolls a dice; 5-6 he ignores that use of Perplex.

Yeah, we’re all gonna get murdered.

Question?  Should we make it only dc characters to make it more thematic fighting him?  Also can we use the batteries or are they considered relics for this?  Also due to his power and first few clicks dealing 9 damage should we all just build 1000 point teams no matter how many people come?  We can limit to 5 actions per round?

Be sure to bring an adjustable team.  We will stick to the build options I presented, but if it turns out to be one-sided I may allow reinforcements.

Saturday 2/24 will be 500 Floor event - 250 from X-Men Xavier's School, 250 from other Marvel sets using characters that share keywords only from Xavier's School.  We'll be playing for a piece from the Mojoworld OP kit.

Saturday 3/1 we will be facing.... GALACTUS!

Galactus will be played using scenario rules at 1800 points.  This will be the original Galactus, so no worries about the Cosmic Engines and Ultimate Nullifer stuff.

Our force is to equal 1800 points.  Because its impossible to know who will show up, please build your teams in increments of 100.  At least 3 of us are confirmed, so you're looking at 600 or lower team builds.  Your team also needs to be a Marvel named theme.

We beat the crap out of the Spectre.  Let's make this game a little more difficult - no bringing pieces that nerf Galactus' traits and powers.  If you do bring such a piece, it will not affect Galactus.

Lastly, to clarify "friendly" in terms of powers that affect other characters.  Your characters are friendly to your force, but not to anyone else's force.  You can't support another player's piece or use Enhancement to amp up damage.  Perplex will work just fine, however.

yeah, down with Galactus!

Sorry, no multi-based figures, including colossals, team bases or vehicles.

We have 20 rounds to defeat Galactus, but when we KO one of the dials we roll a D6 and gain up to that many extra turns, so we will have at least.... 22 rounds, and at most 32 rounds.  Or I use my Cosmic Judge Awareness to reset the timer...

Galactus is never given action tokens, and all of his actions are free actions.  Galactus is not affected by knockback, can't be captured, and ignores Force Blast, Incap, Mind Control, Plasticity, Poison, Shape Change, Stealth, and Support powers, as well as other powers or team abilities that duplicate these powers.  Galactus ignores TK, but can be the target of a TK attack.  When Galactus uses Energy Explosion or Pulse Wave, its damage becomes equal to the number of combat dials he starts the game with (three).  When Galactus is the target of Outwit or Perplex, roll a d6: 5-6 Galactus ignores that use of Outwit or Perplex.

Friday, 5/18 at... 6:30? 7pm? will be the official Avengers Infinity sealed tournament with prize support.  I'm guessing it will be $30 for 2 boosters to build a 300pt team.

Oh man, I can't wait to open up my brick next week.  Space Knights FTW!

Hi All!

Here are what the next few weeks look like:

Saturday 6/30: Water Balloon Fight!  But the question is, what's inside them?  Probably something flammable or acidic, because.... 500pts, everyone has a minimum range of 6, and only 1 target; whenever you make a range attack and hit, roll a d6 and replace your damage value with your roll; if you roll a 1-2 also give the target an action token.  And no hiding or camping allowed - no Stealth.

Saturday 7/7: no clix.

Saturday 7/14: Batman: The Animated Series Prerelease!  Slade says we qualify, so barring any FUBAR from the distributors we will be set to go!  Sealed event, i'm assuming $25 will get you 2 boosters to build a 300pt team.  No prizes unless you want something from the junk box.

Ok so the Days of Future past tourney is here.  It’s for special I’d cards only attained from this event leading into the final even for the Tri Sentinal.  So they say it’s supposed to be a sealed tourney but there is no boosters for it they want people to use old stock.

So instead we’re going to do 300 point modern X-men or Brotherhood.  Now I know there Is not a ton so I’ll accept characters that were x men or brotherhood

No objects resources con pieces or collosal

Figures only.  With 1 acception since it’s for ID cards you can use those by themselves.
