I Need Your Help to find a Cure!

Dear Friends & Colleagues,
I am writing today with a special request, one that is very important to me. My friend, Jennifer Allen has been nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2019 Man and Woman of the Year campaign. This is a philanthropic competition for community leaders who really want to make a difference. As someone who has seen the impact that cancer has had on loved ones, I want to do everything I can to put a stop to this terrible disease. I have joined AEC Community Builders Against Cancer, led by Jennifer and SEPI, in an effort to help LLS fund their mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since 1949, LLS has invested over $1.2 billion in cancer research. In fact, over 40% of all FDA approved cancer therapies were first approved for a blood cancer and then were later approved to treat other forms of cancer, including breast, brain, pancreatic, kidney, lung and ovarian cancer.
As a team, we are on a mission to raise $150,000 in just 10 weeks to fund life-saving research and patient services. Every dollar raised is a vote for Jennifer as Woman of the Year.
