We need passionate market supporters
to come to this important meeting:

We hear opinions all the time from people who care about the market's future.  Passionate opinions.  We invite you to come and share some of that passion with the group that is working to find a solution to the permanent home dilemma.

There will be information sharing, and an opportunity for public input with the consultant and the committee of vendors, patrons and City administrators who are helping to guide this process.

Need some background information on how we got to this point?  Our website has the details.

Please help us estimate attendance for this meeting with an  RSVP now!
The UVA Food Collaborative will be screening the film
at the Central Library on Monday, March 4 at 6:30 pm.

Sandra Steingraber, often called today's Rachel Carson, is breaking the silence about cancer and its links to environmental toxins and synthetic chemicals in our air, land, food, and water.  The film follows her personal struggle with cancer and her public quest for the urgent human rights of cancer prevention.

There will be some healthy refreshments provided by Whole Foods prior to the film, and following the screening there will be a panel discussion featuring Dr. John Peterson Myers from Environmental Health Sciences and Dr. Emilie Rissman from the UVA School of Medicine. The library also validates parking in the Market Street and Water Street garages for 2 hours.
Admission to the film is free.
