Jayesh - Thanks for your effort. BTW.......are we planning to refine it further? It would be good to have uniformity across all the slides....

Regards
Uma

Hello All,

After a brief and constructive discussion, Ritesh and myself decided that the case study will be handed over to the class not as a hard copy but as soft copy after the presentation  :) Any other views, thoughts??

GO GREEN!!

Thanks,
Roopa

what do we achieve by doing that?
or rather
do we achieve the same objective by doing that ?

Yes. We do achieve the same objective. The point Ritesh had in mind is for ppl to go through the case study related to cash flows which he cannot explain in detail during the presentation. Giving the hand out in the class is therefore same as that of sending the soft copy after the presentation since ppl will not be looking at the hand out and read through it the moment it is given to them.

Thanks,
Roopa

Archana - Thanks for your effort.

Jayesh - since you are to refine the ppt further, kindly look at further touch up....specifically the FDI section & some formatting across the PPT.

Uma

IMO- does not make sense to have a few copies alone.....either we distribute the handout / we do not distribute it at all.

Since we would not be discussing the case study at length, its okay to circulate a soft copy of the case along with the ppt to the entire class.

Jayesh kindly reorganise the risks slightly as mentioned below:

  • EXCHANGE RATE CURRENCY RISK
  • INFLATION RISK
  • TAX RISK
  • CULTURAL AND INSTITUTIONAL RISKS
  • BLOCKED FUNDS
