Can someone enlighten me on the topics that need to be covered under Government rules and regulations (India, USA, Euro union).
I could think of the following:
1.
Regulations laid out by the parent government in setting up a project in a foreign nation.
2.
Regulations laid out by the foreign government where the project is to be set.
3.
Foreign Direct Investment
4.
Legal implications, property rights
5.
International Taxation, income remittance to the parent company, concessions offered by the foreign government, subsidy.
Euromarkets, Eurocurrency loans, Eurobonds, Export Credit Schemes would all fall under 'Raising capital in international markets' (Archana, correct me if I am wrong).
I have gone through the links sent by Ritesh on PPP of Indian government which mostly talks about the RFPs, Bid, Timelines and the format/guidelines laid out by the government, the ministries involved etc but not related to foreign investments.
If someone has come across the government rules and regulations while going through other topics, please send across the details.
Regards,
Lakshmi Kedaraman.
