Hi,

I currently have an old version (1.0-dev from 2014) running. The server needs a PHP update to version 8, so I need to upgrade Flyspray as well.

I read on bugs.flyspray.org (main page) that for 'upgrades' it is best to wait for RC11. When would this version become available?

Actually, would it even be (likely) possible to upgrade from 1.0-dev to RC11?

Many thanks,
Nico

PS: by the way, the user registration on bugs.flyspray.org still doesn't work (otherwise I would have asked this question inĀ FS#2626, which also mentions to wait for RC11).

Hi Nico,

I am verry happy to read your message!

Yes, there is a big problem, the last stable version is Flyspray 0.9.9.7 - 28 May 2012 (MORE THAN 10 YEARS) with a lot of CVEs: https://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-3423/Flyspray.html.

The last "unstable" version is Flyspray 1.0-rc10 - 23 April 2021 (more one year): https://github.com/Flyspray/flyspray/releases/tag/v1.0-rc10.

The team does not understand "Stable" vs "Unstable": Alpha/Beta/RC will not installed for production server.

Currently, there is a big security problem in the 0.9.9.7, look CVEs.

I always hope a 1.0 stable version with CVE fixes, etc like specified in my ticket: https://bugs.flyspray.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=2626.

Regards,

Neustradamus

Dear Peter,

One month after, no answer from you, no change, no 1.0 official build, no solution for CVEs :

The last official stable build is always: Flyspray 0.9.9.7 - 28 May 2012.
MORE 10 YEARS !

There are a lot of spam in hosted flyspray, what is the solution?
Migrate to another bugtracker?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Neustradamus
