Big Mop Head
Dear FlyLady,
I have been a FlyBaby for a year or so now and have ordered most of the FlyLady tools including the mop. It’s not the BIG mop, but I don’t have whole rooms of hardwood, just edges. I have liked the mop, but yesterday proved what the mop was worth!
I put chicken in the slow cooker and left for work without turning it on. Remembered about 10:00 am and ran home to turn it on and come right back to work…that was the plan! When I opened the door, I heard a loud “water-spraying” sound! The hot water heater was spraying water! The kitchen was completely flooded and running into the laundry room, office, dining and was just coming into the living room. I turned off the water and starting mopping. I have never seen anything absorb like the purple mop cloth. I have two and saved one to make sure my hardwood was completely dry after getting all the water up. I had it done in no time. I was so thankful for this mop!
You will love this! I took my shoes off because I knew I would be wading through water…well, wouldn’t you know, my foot slipped and rammed under a piece of furniture! I skinned my toes and was bruised and bloody! This would not have happened if I had KEPT MY SHOES ON! LOL Just couldn’t help but think of you!
