Hi, Dear FlyLady!
I've just ordered two FlyLady calendars.
Amazing - it isn't even the end of May yet and I won't be putting this new one up until January! But in all honesty, it is one thing we cannot do without. But when it comes right down to it, it's still our old-school paper calendar we use the most. In fact, when we had new kitchen cupboards put in, we actually allowed for a space where the calendar would 'live'.
We have other calendars - one in my office, one at the back door near the phone (yes - we also still have a 'land line'! LOL) and they're very nice. But your calendar is the workhorse. The spaces are big enough to hold several items per day, or lots of details.
I have lovely art in my home - I don't need a pretty picture on my calendar - I need space! We both run our businesses from home, and need to keep things organized! The thing that amazes me most is that my wonderful 'Aspie' husband actually wants the calendar.
Our rule: if it isn't written on the calendar, it's not happening! And this calendar is something we do NOT throw away - at least for seven years. We keep each expired calendar with our tax information so that if we need to question a receipt, etc. we simply look at the date on the calendar.
About seven years ago I ordered an extra calendar to give to my niece. She was in University and I knew she needed to keep both her academic and sports activities organized. Well, she graduated and is now director of a fantastic organization, working with inner-city youth. I've been giving her the calendar each year, but you know - younger people are so tech-oriented that when I saw the notice for this year's calendar, I texted her and said, "Do you still want the FlyLady calendar, or are you completely digital now?" Her quick response was "YES, please!!! I use it all the time!"
So this has become a tradition: I order one for myself, and one for her.

I have to say I love the calendar; I'm a first time user. The spots are roomy & great! :)
However, being a single, empty nester with a consistent schedule - I have to say my calendar was almost bare. It was almost too big & roomy ;-) LOL I decided to add birthdays & anniversary information...and THEN it hit me --> Put their address on their special day too, so it is all in one spot when I am writing out the cards! :D
It has been sweet realizing I remember more addresses than I expected to (yay for good memory!!) & it has been fun calling to catch up with when I call to get the addresses of those who have moved, etc.
THANKS FLYLADY, I am enjoying this calendar SO much :)

I just have to share. I have purchased my FlyLady calendar regularly the past several years, but last year close to the end of the year, I had somehow NOT ordered my new calendar yet.
My DD 13 came around the corner planning on putting something on the calendar for January. When she didn't see the new calendar behind the current one, she turns to me and asked, "Hey, Mom. Where's the new calendar?" I told her we have our family calendar for next year (all the cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents birthdays and anniversaries.......very tiny squares). She looked at me funny and walked away seemingly annoyed.
The next day, DH was working on our menu for the next week. He very carefully plans dinners based on how crazy our schedule is or isn't each day. He looks behind December and doesn't see a new calendar. Then, turning to me asks, "Um, Honey? Where's the new calendar?" I tell him the same thing as DD, we have our family calendar. His response, "Yes, but that's not got enough room to write stuff on it."
So, I am happy to share that my family has been completely spoiled in years past with a FlyLady calendar. Yes, I have ordered my new one.

I’m so happy that you have produced a calendar for this year after all. The Flylady calendar has become a part of our family’s story and a record of our lives and I’ve kept them all going back so many years.
I’m totally thrilled to have my calendar for 2026. It’s expensive to get the calendar shipped to the UK and I could definitely get one for a fraction of the price on Amazon but it’s not the same and I so hope you are able to keep producing the calendars going forward and that everything works out for you for the best.

Thank you so very much for finding a way to continue offering the calendar. I have been using one every year since 2003. Not only do I find it the best way for me to keep my calendar, but I have kept all my calendars. They are like a diary for me. It has been fun to flip back through them when I’m a little nostalgic, and they are helpful when I need to know a date or info from the past - it’s all right there!!! I am grateful, not only for your wonderful calendar, but for helping me years ago with getting a handle on being a homemaker.
Decades ago, I read your book and promptly implemented as much as I could. So many little things I do are because of your help. (I have a copy of your book set aside to give my daughter when she gets married .) One of many examples: At least once a week (maybe more!), I still have to remind myself that it will only take me about 6 minutes to unpack the dishwasher. I can do 6 minutes!! I am so very sorry to hear of your difficult year, and just wanted you to know how thankful I am for you and all your team.

Calendar Tips
Dear Friends,
I have been brainstorming on how to help you enjoy using your calendar. I have put together a list of 11 Tips to make your calendar work for you!
1. Color Code your calendar. Use a high lighter for each member of your family, a dot or some color to help you recognize who has something when you look across the room at your calendar.
2. Use blank address labels to cover up mistakes or changes in your calendar.
3. Don't procrastinate about putting appointment on your calendar. Do it now! You're your calendar working for you! This way you don't have to try to remember everything.
4. Look ahead so that you can plan for special events or doctor's appointments. Do you need to fast, how about that suit that needs cleaned or a new dress for the wedding?
5. Check the family calendar morning, afternoon and evening. This habit is the Shiny Sink of your brain.
6. Put your calendar in a place that is in front of the family. After all out of sight is out of mind for us.
7. Allow your family to help you use the calendar. This is teaching them the calendar habit. Using a calendar as a tool is giving your children wings.
8. Each week have a family meeting to synchronize your schedules and put them on the family calendar. This is about communicating with each other and having all the information in one place.
9. When you walk in your door, THINK! Do we have something to post on the calendar? Put up a note to remind you. Having that PTA or church bulletin in your purse, the sports schedule in the backpack or that invitation in back of the calendar is not going to get it posted to your family calendar. This habit will keep things from slipping up on you! Don't wait to do it later. Later will be that frantic phone call!
10. Make it your family calendar fun! Use sticker, stars and smiley faces to decorate as well as celebrate accomplishments.
11. Use your calendar to chart your family's milestones. Your calendar will become your family history! Yes you can save your calendars. They will help you to scrapbook.
These 11 tips will help you to use your calendar instead of just buying it and allowing yet another calendar to become clutter in your home. Our calendar is big enough to hold your family's appointments.
