Hi all,

We will have all three Connecticut based FT10s signed up for Block Island Race Week this June - would love to have more join us.  

I know I haven't done enough travelling with my boat to support events in Atlanta or Florida (sorry), but we'd love to have all the East coast boats join us.  At face value it's pricier than Atlanta, but we put it at $800/person for the week - that covers house/registration/food and a bit of beer.  $115/person/day for a gorgeous week of sailing isn't bad.

Let me know if I can help with logistics or planning - we did it in 2013 and learned a lot about how to make it easy and fun.

If we get 7 boats we'll have our own start - otherwise we'll be mixed in a fleet of M32, Farr 30, turbo 1D35, Schock 40, etc. and scored PHRF TOT.

Jeff,

In view of Dan Walker's email regarding the sale of his FT10, may I offer a suggestion.

For the good of the class and to avoid ridicule, please consider changing the name of the March 13-15, 2015 regatta to anything other than the North Americans.

A regatta consisting of half a dozen boats does not warrant the status of North Americans.
