UCR Flying Samaritans: April 18th, 2015 Clinic Final List

Hi everyone. 

Some important reminders for our next clinic:

 

1.     We will be meeting at 5:00 am.

2.     PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEES if you have not already done so. (You will not be allowed to attend without an updated membership).

3.     Make sure to BRING YOUR PASSPORTS, DONATIONS FOR OUR PATIENTS AND SOME EXTRA CHANGE AND MONEY to pay for the toll roads we use on our way to the clinic.

4.     If you are a driver (not a backup driver), please pay your insurance deposit by the deadline listed and send me an email confirming you are still able to drive.

5.     If you are a driver or backup driver, show up with a FULL tank of gas on the morning of the clinic so you can receive reimbursement for your gas for the trip.

 

Information regarding the April Clinic:

 

 

Clinic Date: Saturday April 18th, 2015

What to Bring:

1. Passport or Passport Card (If you have a green card, bring passport + green card)

2. You may want to pack your own lunch/water to eat at the clinic and on the way to and from the clinic, though lunch is prepared for us and we bring water for everybody.

3. Closed toed shoes and Flying Sams shirt (We are out of mediums and smalls at the moment)

4. Money for dinner - we will be stopping somewhere as a group.

5. A few dollars and change for the toll road payment (~$2.50) and for the people in Mexico who purchase and prepare lunch for us. (It's a kind gesture)

 

Meeting Location: UCR Lot 30

 

Meeting Time: 5:00am Sharp.  We will leave by 5:30am.

 

Cost: Student volunteers are to pay their $20 trip fee and membership fee no later than Thursday, April 16th by 11:59 p.m.  If you have not paid your fees or contacted me regarding your trip fee by the deadline, YOU WILL BE DROPPED and someone on the alternate list will receive your spot. 

 

Drivers (NOT BACKUP DRIVERS) do not pay a trip fee, but are required to make a down payment of $20 for insurance purposes, which will be reimbursed.  If for some reason you forget your passport or oversleep on the day of the clinic, we cannot refund your trip fee. The money is used in advance to pay for medications and car insurance. Thank you for your understanding.
