Revised mid-term report

Hi coaches,

Attached is the final version of the Mid-term Report. Please note that some feedback that you gave (especially Olaf's) was not fully implemented as it was more efficient to incorporate those in the Final Report. Most feedback was taken care of already, though.

As we don't expect you to go through the document and try to figure out what exactly has and has not been changed, we made the process a little easier for you: click here for a diff'ed version that has all changes indicated (be patient, 16 MB PDF file).
