See below for my first draft of the meeting minutes. This is your chance to make any corrections. Also, if you were unable to attend, items where we could still use some help are in red.

Agenda:

• Election of fleet officers for 2026 season
• Fleet captain: Eric Sutton
• Treasurer: John Cassada
• Fleet racing:
• The majority wants to sail to the near mark.
• This is with the understanding that we will not be eligible for trophies as part of the miscellaneous monohull fleet.
• We are hoping to have enough boats participating to be scored as our own fleet.
• The possibility of the fleet supplying our own trophies was raised.
• Need someone to take over the fleet web page and do scoring for the club races (Bronson Bowling)
• Flying Scot Fun Sail, June 6-7
• At this time, the fleet does not have anyone to take charge of this event.
• Exploring alternatives.
• Egyptian Cup Regatta, June 26-28
  • Beverages (Bill Vogler)
  • Friday welcome party (John Cassada, Andy Biermann)
  • Saturday & Sunday breakfast (John Cassada, need help here)
  • Saturday & Sunday lunch (John Cassada, Shirley Bild, Susan Tellini)

  • Registration (Eric Sutton, Bronson Bowling)
  • Scoring (Scott Stevenson)
  • Regatta shirts (N/A)

  • Sunday afternoon cleanup (Chris Brooks)
• Condition and maintenance of loaner boats
• Boat cover crisis - covers have been purchased (Rick Bernstein)
• Need a better system for reporting problems - There was a productive discussion on this issue, but no firm conclusions.
• How do we get users of the loaner boats more involved in fleet activities?
