Pursuit Race, Sunday August 6

Hello,

This Sunday there is a pursuit race. If you are new to racing, the
pursuit race format is a good way to get started. It is much more
relaxed than the regular Sunday buoy races. If you're not interested in
the competitive aspect, you can think of the pursuit race as coordinated
day sailing. It would be great to see some of the associate members out
in the fleet boats.

As of now, Wednesday evening, the weather forecast is for showers to be
clearing in the morning, then 11-14 from the WSW at noon.

There is a competitors meeting at 11am. The start time varies, but is
usually between 12pm and 1pm.

Eric, the weather report has slightly changed and it now makes it iffy for me to sail. winds under 5 mph with an increased chance of rain. BV
