I have tried to email some of you individually but I am not sure why it is not going through. I would really like to help with the Miscellaneous Team or Contacting Professionals Team. I was wondering when I talk to the professionals what I should say because I am not really sure what days they will be needed? What the transportation is like? Get it? If someone could please call me to fill me in so I can be of service.

I'm Bryant, from the "Contacting Professionals Team." We don't have a set date as of yet. Matt, the SDSU branch founder, still has to assess the feasibility of monthly or bimonthly visits to the clinic. However, we are trying to shoot for a late November visit. Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I missed the first meeting due to being out of town for an internship, but I'm so excited to be working with you all this year and can't wait to get this show on the road! As Matt said in her earlier email, those of us who missed the meeting should just try and help out where we can so I'm going to fill myself into the "Fundraising Team". Hope everyone's having a good summer and I'm definitely looking forward to our next meeting. 

I don't know who exactly this would be aimed towards but as for our fundraising team, are we trying to brainstorm idea's for fundraising money for our club or more to cover the bases of our trips down to Mexico such as for gas and supplies? Any suggestions/ideas would be great! Thanks! :)

Hey Rasa,

 

We are trying to get money for the club not for the gas and insurance it will take to go down for each trip to mexico.  The money for the club will be used for supplies that we need to actually run the clinic.  Other clinics have a fee for each trip for the students that attend for the gas and insurance for that particular trip.  I will discuss some other fundraising ideas that me and Ruth Aguilar have talked about at our next meeting which will be August 9th.  Keep up the good work!
