Attached hereto is the update on the above project that has been going on for a long time. I am sending it to you to keep you informed about it and will keep you posted as soon as we have any further information. 

 

It seems to us that there are many fly fishers who are completely oblivious to the major implications on our sport if these regulations are published without due processes having been followed and inappropriate regulations flow from it. FOSAF, at its most recent Executive meeting, discussed this in detail.  Hopefully we can find a way forward that will address the issues so that our sport but will not be negatively affected by it. However, if we do not find a suitable way forward it may well end up in litigation and this is likely to be a very expensive exercise that would need to be funded. Should this happen, we may well have to embark on a further major fundraising campaign.
