Dr. Bob Karp, a longtime PO at NIH, recently retired and writes: "In cleaning out my office, I discovered some Drosophila-related books and other publications which might be of interest to some members of the fly community:

Lindsley and Grell's Red Book, 1972 edition

DIS #62, 64, 65, 67-69, spanning 1985-1990

10 unused, mint-condition copies of George Lefevre's chapter on maps of Drosophila salivary gland chromosomes from Ashburner's The Genetics and Biology of Drosophila, with foldout photos and camera lucida drawings of all of the chromosomes

David Roberts' Drosophila, a Practical Approach, Oxford, IRL Press, 1986

M. Demerec's and B.P. Kaufman's Drosophila Guide, Carnegie Institute of Washington, 1973.

If anyone in the fly community would like to have any of these publications, please ask them to contact me at rober...@gmail.com.
