 A fellowship of (R$ 7060.00 ~ $1150.00) is available for a period of 24 months. The fellow will be responsible for the management and implementation of experimental protocols using the in vivo model of Drosophila melanogaster. Activities will include preparing and maintaining experimental conditions for rearing flies and supervising students in behavioural, histological and imaging studies. Candidates must have a degree in biology, physics, chemistry or a related field and at least four years of research experience or post-graduate work experience in a related field. Knowledge of microscopy techniques (light and electron microscopy) and immunofluorescence is also desirable.
