Average protein content of Drosophila (adult) gut and brain

Hello all,

As a part of my thesis, I'm need to quantify GSH and SOD levels alongwith providing data on total protein content in gut and brain of control and treated flies. I tried to look for standard protein levels in Drosophila, but couldn't find any relevant publications.

I would be grateful if anyone could please inform me about the standard protein content of a normal fly. (It would be better if a paper can be cited to backup the data).
