We have a job opening for a PhD student in our lab at the Donders Institute and Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands - see attached job ad. The project is based on a forward genetic screen that resulted in the identification of Drosophila mutants displaying adult-onset progressive degeneration of motor axons in the leg. The project involves the characterization of (a subset of) these mutants, with as main scientific question: why/how does loss of function of the identified genes result in axonal degeneration?

In case you would be interested, please do get in touch.

Many thanks in advance and best wishes,

Erik
