What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a backup of your home directory
2. Get to exclude screen and notice you can't just exclude directories
3. Get angry and make a sandwich

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The exclude rules are quite limited. Most backup products let you at least
specify folders which should not be backed up inside of a backup target.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Flyback v0.64 - Ubuntu 9.10 64

Yes, this is definitely needed. This used to exist in v0.40 and now it's
disappeared? Thanks.

I am looking at different backup software options, and the lack of this
option is encouraging me to discount flyback, much as it otherwise looks
very interesting. Is there any intention of (re)including this facility?
