Dear ARV Owners....
It's some while since Blackbushe hosted an aviation 'event', happily we're putting that right this year with the Blackbushe Air Day and Fly-in....
A public 'open day', but no flying display, the Air Day is one for private flyers, aircraft enthusiasts, the public who want to know more or are simply curious about aeroplanes, with prizes to be won whether you fly in or come as a surface visitor..
Fly-in participants have a special prize waiting, two in fact. Prestige Signs are offering two prizes of 200 litres of aviation fuel to be drawn for from the first 50 fly-in arrivals... A 1:25 chance of winning!
An extensive static park of interesting aircraft is being assembled, while NATS are running another of their "Big Pull" contests. See attachments.
The Air Day's bottom line and most important objective is to raise funds in support of our charity, Aerobility. As is well known, Aerobility do extraordinary work granting those who are disabled, terminally ill, and our injured service personnel the chance to discover the release, personal achievement, excitement, exhilaration and pure joy of mastering the air.
We sincerely hope that as many of your members as possible will be able to fly-in and join the fun. The weather we can't promise, but we can promise an enjoyable day which hopefully might lead to this becoming a new date in the annual aviation calendar.
