Florida VOAD Fall Meeting - December 3 - Orlando Area

Set your calendars for the 2008 late Fall Florida VOAD meeting to be
held in the Orlando Area on December 3, 2008. Tentatively, the
meeting will be conducted at the Seminole County EOC; but we're
waiting on approval. Our Host will be Pat Shields and the Seminole
Heart and the Volunteer Center for Seminole County.

Meeting will start at 10:00 AM. Menu will be provided for attendees
to order lunch (sandwiches and salads). Meeting will be completed by
around 2:00 PM at the latest.

Topics and developments to be discussed include:

* Florida chosen for site of the National VOAD Annual Conference in
2010, probably in April 2010. To be held in Orlando area. Florida
VOAD will be the host.

* Debut of new and improved Florida VOAD Web Site - new functioality
and design will be unveiled, along with feedback on web-site needs and
functionality the Florida VOAD Toolbox

* Six-month Review of the Florida VOAD Strategic Plan

* Review of the 2008 Storm Season and the FLVOAD Conference Call
Protocol

* Update from the field - Special Report on the FEMA/HHS Disaster
Case Managment Project

* Ohter exciting developments and plans for 2009-2010.
