Starting in several weeks, I no longer have the time to be administrator of this group.

If anyone who wishes to become the admin, just respond back to this post or create another and let me know.  As admin, you simply review and approve or disaprove new members.

If nobody offers to become admin before the beginning of May, then I'll delete the group.

Just let me know.

Ok great.  I've changed your status from member to Owner.  You should now receive the membership requests as well.  I'll also remain as an Owner for a while in case there are any problems.  Then, I'll change my status to member.  Let me know if there are any problems or questions.

My pleasure, to be honest I had not touched Flux in ages as I was too busy being the homestay dad. Now my kids are of to school I can get back into what I love doing, websites. Actually working on a movie website for a friend, crazy how much I forgot, expect many posts from me ;)

Oh, also look at the discussions thing on the Escapers website but that seems dead, only 3 posts from 2015, rest is half a year old. Is Flux dead?

"Is Flux dead?"

Sort of looks that way doesn't it?  With the lack of support I've experienced, I've been underwhelmed.  Every now and again I get an offer to upgrade but that's about all the contact I've experienced.  IOW's doesn't seem to be an interested installed base of users.
Would like to do something with it but a lack of HTML5 integration in my version and the empty Users hallway . . . Perhaps not so much.
"macFlux fully supports Full Screen in Lion."  **sigh**

I just noticed that The Escapers is new from last time I looked, so maybe there's still hope. It'd be a shame if Flux was dead, It showed such promise.
Meanwhile, Macware is still selling v4 for $39.99.

One of the problems I have with V5 is that it was released while V4 was still buggy. and there is no upgrade path…

New in V5

Flux V has dozen of new features and 100s of bug fixes. The all new Site Manager now has integrated FTP support. There are Media popups for finding the right image, a contextual toolbar makes changing properties easier than ever, we could go on, but it would be easier if you downloaded it and saw for yourself.

Does this mean to get bugs fixed in V5 we will need to buy V6?

The price is a bit of a disappointment - as big as the poor support of v3 was.  When there were typos on the cover of the manual, you know there's trouble inside.
I guess I'm out.
