Hello, my name is Farhan I have recently started watching flutter widget of the week videos and MANY other videos like literally my youtube is filled with flutter videos now and I think it’s a beautiful creation with so much potential and it being cross platform is just amazing and I wanted to make my own apps and I have SO SO many ideas but here’s the problem :( I have 0 coding experience and I don’t wanna pay anyone to get my apps made I wanna learn but I don’t know where to learn or where do I start how do I start any YouTube video I watch is basically an advertisement of their own courses that you have to pay for and I’m just very tired I have been using flutter and been experimenting making buttons and labels and it’s very fun but then things get very complicated like firebase auth firestore recalling saving data it’s so so complicated I don’t understand anything what’s happening I watched many videos but I just don’t understand because I have 0 coding experience so I wanted to ask how do I start where do I start from what should I do because I do love flutter and making my own app would be just amazing I wanna be very fluent in flutter

I think you should start by watching a couple of Java tutorials just the basics to get a feel for programming then you should try and read through the dart language tour just to see the language. Then you can start with flutter. These might look too much but is not much and in times of this lockdown it will be even easier.

There is no royal road to coding experience.

You have started right. Experimenting by yourself is very important aspect of understanding coding. Many people fail to do this before putting their first buttons.

Right. Your understanding is correct; Firestore is complicated. Firestore simplifies complex tasks: networking, database, authentication, object serialization, etc. People with these knowledge appreciate Firestore. It’s not for coding beginners.

If I were you, I would use shared_preference to store data first.
