Emulator freezes when input from a regular computer keyboard

Emulator freezes almost every time I enter something into input field from a regular computer keyboard.

And when I try to close the emulator window then it shows 

qemy-system-x86_64.exe does not respond

I made `flutter clean` but the issue arises again.
and `flutter doctor` – all is ok.

I did not notice it on a physical device.

I think the issue happens only on emulator when you use your PC keyboard to enter text in the text field as this does not happen when you try it on a physical device.

I seem to face a similar issue. I press the back button on the emulator and it app screen shows again. As long as the app isn't crashing really, I guess its fine. My thoughts.

In my case the keyboard doesn't work when i use the "flutter emulator" automatically created by flutter from Visual Studio Code. If I use an emulator created through the Avd Manager (called from Android Studio) the keyboard works fine, don't know if this is the case.

I use Android studio most of the time so I haven't noticed. We still can't call it a flutter issue since its better on Android studio

In my case keyboard doesn work or work with from time to time when I use software GLES emulator engine.
