Unable to launch flutter demo apps from Github with my Android Studio

Hi All,

Please can someone help me move forward with my learning? I am new with flutter, started learning few days. I have Android Studio installed with Flutter but I can't test any demo app for my learning. I always have the message in the snapshot and it's where I am, can't move forward

I can’t see any error, it says you are in power save mode and some tasks are not running

When I run, it's at the stage of "Initializing gradle…." where there is problem because it would stay there for hours without moving to another stage. I don't know where could be the problem

Hubert, some ideas:

Disable antivirus (yes, I said antivirus). 

Try with visual studio code

Have you tried "flutter precache"? (it's on their documentation)

Sometimes android studio can get slow. Just trying to find out where the root of your problem is... it could even be slow network connection (gradle may be taking a long time download the necessary libraries)

This may be interesting to any java developer out there that "suddenly" has to decide to learn kotlin or flutter, or nativescript or react native.... (that is my case).
