I'd love to write a plugin myself, but I don't have an iPhone or a Mac (only Android), which makes testing on an iPhone pretty much impossible. Is there another way to do this?

If there's someone here who's doing the same thing for iPhones, I'd love to collaborate somehow.

If you're developing for Android, you will have to use Firebase Cloud Messaging; this is the platform to that sends push notifications to Android devices.

If you're developing for iOS, you're going to need a Mac to make builds.
