Dear Flutter developers,

I am building an application with the Flutter SDK and I am really falling in love with the framework, after just a few days :)

The Google Sign In plugin (https://github.com/flutter/plugins/tree/master/packages/google_sign_in - latest version) works well on iOS, it opens Safari for authentication.
But I get a PlatformException on Android. I am using Firebase but since it works on iOS I don't think that that's the cause of the issue.

A few other people have suffered the same issue and I've created an Issue on the Flutter Github repo.
But since a friend of me also contacted some Flutter devs and got a very fast and good response from them, I thought that I could do the same.

So it would be really nice if you could help me with this (I guess, very easy) issue.

Thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,

The DEVELOPER_ERROR status code with the google_sign_in may indicate that need to add your SHA1 key to Firebase console configuration. It can also be caused by an application ID that doesn't match your Firebase console. There's probably more error information in the adb logcat -- see Todd's comment on the issue you filed.
