I suspect that any courses now on Dart alone won't really get you into the grips of state management (but I may be wrong), it's not really a specific language thing, more of a design thing that could apply to different languages (as mentioned like js/react). So I would just focus on programming for flutter and reading about state management, spend a little time trying to understand each approach (there's often reasonable youtube vids on each). The problem is state management is really dull, and in Flutter it feels like there's no one simple solution that works for all cases, so my main advice is not to let it hinder you creating good things. State management can be a bit over blown unless in a larger app and environment. People may disagree with me on that, which is fine, but just be wary you often learn more by trying to create stuff than reading/doing courses!

I think that javascript skills translate really well to Flutter, so courses that focus on frontend js should be an option as well. Frontend web frameworks like React also have a lot in common with Flutter. I haven't done the Android Basics course and can't comment on it in comparison, though!Justin

Hello everyone, I've been learning flutter and dart for the last 6 months,I have a background as a web front end developer (html, css, wordpress), so it was easy for me to learn how to create the UI, but now I'm trying to do a real case app and I'm having problems with the state management of the app, because of my lack of experience programming object oriented languages.--So I would like to know what is the best to learn next, focusing more in the basics of programming. I did at least 3 different courses of flutter online, including the introduction in Udacity. So the logical next step from what I found would be to do the Android Basics by Google course on Udacity, but in this course I understand I would learn Java and not Dart. Do you think guys this is a good idea? Or should I wait until google release an Android Basics based on Dart? and meanwhile I do a dart non official course.I would appreciate some help in order to make a decision,Thanks in advance,Fer
